I have started a webcomic of sorts, dealing with my life as a foreigner living and working in South Korea.
You can find it here on the Facebook - I know you all use it, now you don't even have to open a new website to see shiny new drawings!
I think that for this first week, comics may (or may not) be daily, after that they'll slow down to say, three a week or something.

Wow. So that happened.

Signed in today to find like 1000 messages waiting for me, assumed that people had uploaded a bunch of stuf to the Marvel Fans group or something. Turns out that everyone's looking at this one picture I did a few months back for some reason. One of the comments is the great Captain Ecoplasm congratulating me on a Daily Deviation. Wait, what?
Long story short, I'm pretty damn chuffed at this, a load of people saw my stuff, and a few even clicked through to my other stuff, so for that I'm thankful. Thanks to K-L-ee and kangel, and before tomorrow, when everyone forgets about me, I'm gonna go celebrate.

Guess Who's Back, Back Again...

27 days, 26 train journeys, 13 cities, 11 hostels, 9 countries, 8 museums, 6 languages, 5 city metros, 4 t-shirts, 3 tram systems, 3 currencies, 3 coffees at Starbucks, 2 bags, 2 sleeper trains, 1 beer at McDonalds, 1 pair of jeans, 1 film by Luc Besson (without subtitles, but with gratuitous nude scene), 1 mountain, 1 beach, 1 ferry, 1 Parisian jazz club, 1 Icelandic volcano, a lot of churches, not much sleep, and at 11,333ft, the highest train station in Europe.
I'm back, bitches!

Euro Trip!*

Well folks, tomorrow morning myself and my lovely girlfriend shall be leaving these fair isles (the UK), for a 27 day trip of Europe!
As long as our plans don't go horribly awry, we shall be visiting Brussels (+ laresistance), Bruges, Antwerp (+ laresistance), Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Venice, Rome, Interlaken, Nice, Barcelona and Paris!
Europe - and my bank balance - will never be the same again!
See you in a month! Keep this place clean while I'm away. Oh and I may or may not upload any Europe-based work upon my return, I might be too stressed that everything goes to plan to actually have any fun

Matthew James Broadhurst's Giant Head

Hello there. I've just finished putting the final touches to my new art blog, Matthew James Broadhurst's Giant Head [link]
It's actually been up for a few weeks now, but with a different layout that I wasn't happy with. (Look for the old title and image in my scraps soon!) And as I'm gonna be away for a month starting on Monday, I wanted to get it finished and get the link out there this week! So here you go.
Why giant head? Well I do have a rather large head, and the image of a giant laser-shooting head came into my mind the other day and BAM! It all came together.
Currently I'm working through getting the blog up to date, work-wise, so by the end of the week it should be full of all my lovely artworks and such.
I shall of course still be here, this is my primary location, the blog is just to make me look legitimate, and to distance me slightly from the pictures of kittens and 'How To Train Your Dragon' fan art that is deviantART.
So, get bookmarking!
